Purpose<\/strong>: The purpose of Children’s Ministry at Cornerstone is to invite children to learn of and grow in Jesus Christ. We seek to provide a loving example of who He is and to educate and lead children to a better understanding of who Christ is so that they will make Him their Savior and Lord.<\/em><\/h2>\n

To accomplish this purpose we provide:<\/p>\n

Sunday Morning Children’s Ministry<\/strong>:<\/h3>\n

Nursery\/Toddler Room<\/strong><\/em>: Our nursery and toddler room is open from 8 until noon on Sunday mornings. Here, infants to three-year-olds can play in a supervised environment. Carefully selected and approved adults chaperone the activities. All parents are given a pager so that they can be summoned to these rooms instantly, if needed. From 9:30 to 10:30 am each Sunday morning, toddlers receive a planned Bible lesson appropriate for them.<\/p>\n

Sunday School<\/strong><\/em>: From 9:30 to 10:30 am each Sunday morning Bible classes are held for grades preschool to kindergarten, first grade to third grade, and fourth to fifth grade. Our dedicated teachers are carefully selected and approved.<\/p>\n

COOL (C<\/span>hildren O<\/span>f O<\/span>ur L<\/span>ord) Kids<\/strong><\/em>: COOL Kids is a children’s celebration event held during our worship services for kids ages 4 thru third grade. This event is held in Room # 108, off the BIG Room. Children are dismissed to COOL Kids following the scripture reading at each service.<\/p>\n

Special Kidz Events<\/strong><\/em>: Throughout the year, the Children’s Team plans special events to interest children. These events include: AWANA, the Annual Easter Egg Hunt on the church lawn, Overnight camping events for children, Vacation Bible School, the Harvest Party, and Breakfast With the Wise Men, to name a few.<\/p>\n

Thursday Evening Children’s Ministry (Kidz Zone)<\/strong>:<\/h3>\n

Cornerstone Kidz Choir<\/strong><\/em>: As part of our AWANA program, the Kidz Choir practices on alternating Thursday evenings.\u00a0 Fun songs of praise and worship ring out to God.\u00a0 Kidz Choir is for ages pre-K thru 5th grade.<\/p>\n

AWANA<\/strong><\/em>: From 6:00 to 7:30 pm on\u00a0 Thursday evening Cornerstone’s AWANA program meets.\u00a0 AWANA is dedicated to Biblical evangelism and discipleship so that today’s children may become tomorrow\u2019s Christian leaders, in every aspect of society and culture.\u00a0 Our dedicated teachers are carefully selected and approved.\u00a0 AWANA is for children ages pre-K thru 5th grade.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
