Our Purpose: The purpose of Adult ministry at Cornerstone is to provide a loving environment where adults are nurtured in the Word through teaching, fellowship, and service. To accomplish this purpose we provide.
Open Bible Studies for men and women. These groups are open to those who choose to attend, without restriction. They study specific portions of the Bible. Their emphasis is on learning what the Word of God says. Currently groups meet weekly:
– On Monday nights at 7pm for women. This group meets at the church.
– On Tuesday nights at 7pm for men. This group meets at the church in Little House #2.
– On Wednesday afternoon at 1pm. This group is open to men and women. It meets at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Nick Stuart, 301 Gilmer Road, Coatesville.
– On Thursday mornings at 10am. This group is open to men and women. It meets at Harrison House, 300 Strode Avenue, Coatesville, in the Rose Room.

Adult Bible Fellowship (ABF): These are open mid-size groups that meet on Sunday morning between 9:30 and 10:30 at Cornerstone. They study specific portions of the Bible. Their emphasis is on learning what the Word of God says, fellowship, and pastoral care. Currently, four such groups meet weekly at Cornerstone. They are:
– Adult Bible Fellowship #1 for young adults. This group meets in Little House #3.
– Adult Bible Fellowship #2 for younger middle adults. This group is currently meeting with ABF #1 in Little House #3.
– Adult Bible Fellowship #3 for older middle adults. This group meets in Little House #2.
– Adult Bible Fellowship #4 for older adults. This group meets in Room #103.
(Age grouping in these groups is arbitrary and self-determined. They are guidelines, not rules. We encourage you to attend the ABF in which you feel comfortable regardless of the age grouping.)
Spiritual Growth Groups: At Cornerstone, Spiritual Growth Groups are small (between 10 and 20 people), closed groups (they are only open to those who are members of the group). They meet weekly to study a portion of the Bible. Their emphasis is on application of Biblical principles to life. We encourage all persons who participate in the life of Cornerstone to join a Spiritual Growth Group. Currently Groups meet on:
– Sunday afternoon at 2:30pm
– Sunday evening at 6pm
– Tuesday morning at 10am*
– Wednesday evening at 7pm
– Thursday evening at 7pm
– Thursday evening at 7pm
*There are seats open in this group immediately. Speak to one of our pastors if you are interested in joining one of these groups.
New Spiritual Growth Groups are forming. If you are interested in joining one, but these times do not fit your schedule, speak to one of the pastors, call the church office at 610-384-1375 or email the office,email@example.com.
Sunday Evening Elective Classes: Regularly, special topical studies are offered for adults and youth at Cornerstone. These classes meet from 4 to 5:30pm on Sunday evenings at Cornerstone. They cover such topics as Biblical creationism and evolution, what the Bible says about dating, Biblical parenting, Biblical principles of personal finance, etc. These classes are open to all adults and youth and are presented at special times throughout the year.
Special Events: These events occur throughout the year. They may include recreational retreats, inspiration retreats, informational retreats, attendance at religious concerts and events as a group, etc.
Cornerstone also hosts an outdoor Christian music festival each September. This festival is known as Souled Out and includes music, Bible messages, food, games, and fun. Everyone is invited to attend whether they come to Cornerstone or not.
Purpose: In commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and to the purpose of Cornerstone Fellowship, to make disciples and through the enabling of the Holy Spirit, Cornerstone’s Women’s Ministry seeks to provide opportunities for women to grow as God’s persons, build God’s faith community, and serve the world. To accomplish this purpose, we provide:
Women’s Bible Study: This group is open to all women. This group meets at Cornerstone on Monday nights at 7pm.
Ladies’ Night Out: These are special events which occur throughout the year which are designed to give women a break from their regular duties, enjoy the company of other women, and enrich their lives.
Special Events for women. These events occur throughout the year. They may include opportunities to attend Women of Faith Conferences, etc.
Purpose: The purpose of Cornerstone’s Men’s Ministry is to help men become fully maturing disciples of Jesus Christ. To accomplish this purpose we provide:
Promise Keepers Men’s Bible Study: This group is open to all men. It meets at Cornerstone on Tuesday nights at 7pm. Contact Glen Warren for additional information, 610-383-4046, or email the church office, firstname.lastname@example.org.
Special Events for men. These events occur throughout the year. They include attendance at a Promise Keepers Stadium event in the area, and other activities.
