Purpose: The purpose of Children’s Ministry at Cornerstone is to invite children to learn of and grow in Jesus Christ. We seek to provide a loving example of who He is and to educate and lead children to a better understanding of who Christ is so that they will make Him their Savior and Lord.

To accomplish this purpose we provide:

Sunday Morning Children’s Ministry:

Nursery/Toddler Room: Our nursery and toddler room are open from 8 until noon on Sunday mornings. Here, infants to three year olds can sleep in safe, clean cribs or play in a supervised environment. Carefully selected and approved adults chaperone the activities. All parents are given a pager so that they can be summoned to these rooms instantly if needed. From 9:30 to 10:30 each Sunday morning, toddlers receive a planned Bible lesson appropriate for them.

Sunday School: From 9:30 to 10:30 each Sunday morning Bible classes are held for grades preschool to first grade, second grade to third grade, and fourth to fifth grade. Our dedicated teachers are carefully selected and approved.

COOL (Children Of Our Lord) Kids: COOL Kids is a children’s celebration event held during our worship services for kids ages 4 thru third grade. This event is held in Room # 108, off the BIG Room. Children are dismissed to COOL Kids following the scripture reading at each service.

On the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month from 5:30-6pm the Children’s Praise Choir meets to sing praise to God’s Holy Name! Children up through 8th grade are welcome!

Special KidzEvents: Throughout the year, the Children’s Team plans special events to interest children. These events include: the Annual Easter Egg Hunt on the church lawn, the Spring Fling and Fall Retreat (overnight camping events for children), the Harvest Party, and Breakfast With the Wise Men, to name a few.
